We are also excited to present this original artwork, painted by Milkias Tiku. He is a resident artist of Able Arts Work. An organization that provides creative art services and opportunities for marginalized communities, in particular Individuals with developmental disabilities.
Milkias Tiku shares his experience while creating this beautiful painting. “I was inspired by the beach and the activities I like to do there. Some of the activities I included were playing in the sand, lying in the sun, enjoying the water, and celebrating summer! I enjoyed creating this portrait with paint markers and including many colors. My favorite part about this commission was painting the surfer standing on the beach!”
