I have been affiliated with Kid’s Day for many years, most recently as assistant to the event coordinator for 8 years. I have 27 years teaching experience with 22 of those years in special education. I have a Master’s Degree from Azusa Pacific University in Special Education. I have served on the boards for Challenger District 56 baseball and North Orange County Miracle League. I have been married to my husband, Dave, for 27 years and we have a 20-year-old daughter. Our daughter has a very rare genetic syndrome called Smith-Magenis Syndrome, so I am very aware of the unique needs, which are faced, by families who struggle with these challenges on a daily basis, but also the incredible joy that can been seen of the faces of our awesome kids and adults.
