Meet Candice Robbins!
She is a mother to two able children she birthed and two foster children. Candice shares her story with Kid’s Day founders & board members Skip Larson and his daughter Kirsta Karr and volunteers at the event. She explains how often people forget about disabled parents.
Candice could attend Kid’s Day because of her involvement with her foster children, Choc Children’s Hospital, and she is excited to participate this year.
She shares what she likes best about KId’sKid’s Day, “I appreciate the little things like the shade tents over the tables and chairs and all of the ramps giving access to the beach activities.” Candice enjoyed a boat ride for the first time in 25+ years. When asked about the boat ride, she smiled and said, “Today is a Great, Great day!”
